Welcome to Ambur Marketplace ("Platform"), a platform owned and operated by DICATHEN. By accessing or using our platform at ambur.shop and its subdomains, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Platform Description

Ambur Marketplace is a multi-tenant e-commerce platform that enables local sellers in Ambur to create online storefronts. Customers can browse products and contact sellers directly via WhatsApp for orders. We do not process payments or handle product fulfillment — these are managed directly between buyers and sellers.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

3. Seller Obligations

If you are a seller on our platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate product descriptions, images, and pricing
• Only list products that are legal to sell in India
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries received via WhatsApp
• Maintain appropriate quality standards for your products
• Not use the platform for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes
• Pay your subscription fees on time to keep your store active

4. Pricing & Payment

Seller subscriptions are available at the following rates:

• Monthly Plan: ₹200 per month
• Yearly Plan: ₹2,000 per year (save ₹400)

Payments are made directly via UPI, bank transfer, or cash. Contact us on WhatsApp, email, or phone to arrange payment. We do not auto-charge or store payment card information.

If payment is not received by the expiry date, your store will be deactivated. Your products and data will remain saved and can be reactivated upon renewal.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload harmful, offensive, or misleading content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Interfere with the platform's infrastructure or performance
• Scrape, crawl, or collect data from the platform without permission

6. Intellectual Property

The Ambur Marketplace platform, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. Sellers retain ownership of their product content (descriptions, images) uploaded to the platform. By uploading content, you grant us a license to display it on the marketplace.

7. Limitation of Liability

Ambur Marketplace acts solely as a platform connecting sellers and customers. We are not responsible for:

• The quality, safety, or legality of products listed by sellers
• Disputes between buyers and sellers
• Any loss or damage arising from transactions conducted via WhatsApp
• Temporary service interruptions or downtime

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your store will be deactivated and your data may be deleted after a 30-day grace period.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the use of this platform shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ambur, Tamil Nadu, India.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the platform. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
